There’s just been a new update for Sims 4. It should fix a large part of the bugs that are in the game.
BUT the bug with the bike is still alive and well. I’ve otherwise taken the bikes from my Sims because it’s pure chaos when they use it.
I tried playing my Bob Ross character for fun. Gave him a bike and then we visited the new neighborhoods from the latest expansion pack. The one with vacations.
Yes, I have to admit that chaos lives its own life. It’s simply become so difficult to handle Sims 4. And I’m seriously considering uninstalling the game from my PC.
Bob cycled around happily – at one point he got stuck in the toilet because he couldn’t get to the toilet because the bike was blocking everything. He cycled through the buildings and out into the open. He cycled down to a beach and had a chat with someone down there.
I moved the camera to the city center and asked him to come to a specific place. Time passed and he didn’t show up. I looked for him and then he came walking with his phone in his hand – but without his bike.
At that time he was really hungry, so I had to send him somewhere to cook.
As always in Sims 4, the kitchen was overrun with other Sims who had to cook – so I had to hurry and send Bob home so he could eat at home.
I don’t think EA will ever fix Sims 4 so that it works – just barely.
It’s a pure joy to play Sims 3 instead – so I’ll probably stick to that. It’s a shame – with all the money I’ve thrown at Sims 4.
