I tried building a shop lot where my played sim lives. I chose Morgana Blacksmith as a sample cloth.
Morgana lives in the upper part of the house and the lower part is intended for the shop.
I tried a bakery/cafe part – and here I hired 3 employees – I tried to look for people with a higher level in cooking. Morgana herself is quite high up in baking and cooking.
I had to hire someone to look after the coffee shop – it cost 100 simoleons.
They cost 75 simoleons to open the shop – customers pay 3 simoleons per hour they stay on the lot.
As always, it’s chaos when the sims appear in such a context
The employees stayed in the private room – they watched TV, danced, talked and occasionally cooked. The customers were running up and down – baking cakes on the muffin factory machine, cooking food, waffles – sitting outside – and some of them were also cleaning up.
Those refrigerated counters are useless because you can’t put anything down there. You can sell some of your baked goods to the bakery – wherever it is?
Morgana was making candy floss – which she put on the coffee stand.
At one point, both stoves caught fire and everyone was screaming and making do. The fire department came and put out the fire – and it was only mid-afternoon.
Your employees cost 20 simoleons per hour – then if you’re open for 10 hours it’s 600 simoleons – plus food costs – customers get a minus 25% discount on what they buy – so I have no idea how rich or poor Morgana will be from this – hmm
Add to that the chaos with everyone running in and out of the store and in private – I must admit I’m not completely satisfied.
